KIDPRENEURSHIP

Kids with entrepreneurial dreams can get their start (with an adult's help) before they've even hit middle school. Selling homemade crafts, art, babysitting services, gardening, can be great business ideas for kids. It's a fun and creative way for them to learn about entrepreneurship, while helping them earn extra money. Kidprenuership Workshop ends with a pop-up vendors event where they use their learned business skills, to sell all their goods created during Workshop.

Important life skills students need to know, and practice include, decision-making, problem-solving, personal hygiene, meal prep, communication/interpersonal skills, time management, budgeting/finances, mentoring individual/group sessions, plus more.

Our after-school program provides support to families with children up to 14yrs offering, healthy meals and activities that support the interests, skills and abilities of all participants.

CJUE in partnership with the Windsor Police Services offer many great positive interactive opportunities. Our program uses performance, improvisation and conversation to help children/teenagers and police officers develop a positive relationship.

BLACK HISTORY

Although we celebrate 24/7/365 days per year, Black History Month is that time for all people especially African Canadian/Americans to acknowledge key figures from our past and present. It's an opportunity to spotlight and celebrate the achievements despite the history of racism and oppression. Amazing events are celebrated especially during the month of February.

CPR/BASIC 1ST AID

Learning First Aid could help you save the life of a family member, neighbour, or loved one. If you wish to learn the basics of first aid or want to refresh your skills and boost your confidence, then our First Aid Basics workshop is for you!

G1 LICENSE WORKSHOP

The "Ontario G1 Written Test” workshop will provide the necessary information in gaining your 1st level of becoming a licensed driver. Our classroom setting, 1x per week with skilled mentors along with Police interaction teaching road safety rules. Mock Tests in class and to study at home are include with the workshop. 4-week workshop followed by a scheduled day of testing. All fees and materials are included with our free workshop. Refreshments available in each class. Students are required to attend all 4 days of workshop.

POST-SECONDARY PREP

Post-Secondary Education can be one of the highest forms of educational standing. Our Workshop mentors introduces all participants to the many higher educational opportunities with each student group visiting Colleges and universities. Scheduled leaders and professionals visit each workshop bringing a plethora of knowledge and information. A hands-on approach makes their educational dreams become a real possibility.

Workplace Etiquette conveys the type of professional you are and the personal values that nurture your self-motivation. By using our workshop resources, teachings and "Paid" On the Job Training in fields of your choice, place yourself at the top of the hiring pool.

TUTORING

Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, research papers. Working with students to help them understand key concepts within their subjects of choice, or simply staying one step ahead. One on One or group sessions available.

SPORTS CAMP

Each participant will have the opportunity to participate in the sports camp of their choice. Receiving, t-shirts, healthy refreshments along with training with great coaches. Many Drills/Skills, scrimmage games with all participants receiving awards at the end of camp.

FUN WITH FRENCH

Using different types of learning materials that everyone can enjoy such as, creative activities/reading in French, computer applications and games are all great ways to keep learning the French language an exciting workshop.
